A Meaningful Website for a Non-Profit Driving Meaningful Change
Serve the People Community Health Center in Santa Ana, CA, provides comprehensive healthcare services including medical, dental, vision, and behavioral health care at affordable costs. We also offer support services like a food pantry, health insurance enrollment, and patient transportation to ensure quality care and accessibility for all community members.
Alongside a fellow designer at my agency, Chi Hong, I redesigned Serve the People's website to offer comprehensive user experience, as well as enticing design.
Most importantly, we wanted to showcase their works of service and strong community ties by highlighting the story of their organization, and the faces that make that work happen.
Key Components:
* Color: Each service and service page on this website utilizes a representative color
* Storytelling: The website focuses on communicating the stories behind the individuals who have used the services at Serve the People, and how the organization has helped them.
* Education: One of the major goals of Serve the People is to educate their patients on how they can obtain medical, pharmaceutical, and overall well-being treatments if they do not have insurance. The website menu includes a "Resources" section, featuring pages dedicated to educating individuals on the insurance plans the organization accepts, the amount of money the individual should expect to pay, and patient education forms.
